Recently, the Henan Provincial Key Project Construction Leading Group issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the List of the Second Batch of Key Construction Projects in Henan Province for 2024," selecting a total of 764 second-batch provincial key engineering construction projects, with a total investment of approximately 1.8 trillion yuan and an annual planned investment of approximately 556.6 billion yuan.

　　Reviewing the list of the second batch of provincial key projects, there are 42 innovation-driven capacity enhancement projects, involving laboratory system construction and R&D platforms, and innovation and entrepreneurship platform construction, including the CNNC Intelligent Science and Technology Innovation Base, the Zhongyuan Science and Technology City Quantum Technology Industrial Park, and others;

　　There are 91 infrastructure construction projects, among which the modern comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network includes the newly built Nanyang-Xinyang-Hefei High-Speed Railway, the Shangqiu Airport project, and others; the modern energy security network projects include the Shaanbei—Anhui UHV DC Transmission Project (Henan Section), the Yexian Salt Cavern Gas Storage, and others; in addition, there are modern water network system, urban infrastructure, and strategic material reserve facility construction projects;

　　There are 9 new-type infrastructure construction projects, including integrated infrastructure such as the Jiyuan Dayu Smart Animal Husbandry Industrial Park project, and computing infrastructure such as the Xinyang Artificial Intelligence Computing Center;

　　There are 526 industrial transformation and development projects, including 414 manufacturing construction projects in traditional industries, emerging industries, and future industries, such as the Zhengkai Automobile Industrial Park, the Pingdingshan Fengyuan Bio-based New Materials Industrial Base, and others, as well as projects in modern service industries and modern agriculture, such as the Zhoukou*** Port Logistics Hub Multimodal Transport System Construction;

　　There are 42 green and low-carbon transformation projects, including ecological environment improvement, environmental infrastructure construction, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and new energy projects;

　　There are 54 livelihood and social undertaking improvement projects, including education, medical care, public services, and health and elderly care projects, such as Phase I of the Airport Campus of Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics, Phase I of the Anyang Children's Hospital project, and the Henan Provincial Sports Comprehensive Training Center.
