The Deep Foundation Engineering Development Forum (AFDF) is jointly hosted by the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, the Piling Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, and the State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Environment. It has been successfully held in Weihai (2011), Chongqing (2012), Xi'an (2013), Guangzhou (2014), Hangzhou (2015), Beijing (2016), Xiamen (2017), Nanchang (2018), Wuxi (2019), Jinan (2020), Taiyuan (2021), and Kunming (2023). Through twelve consecutive sessions of ongoing exchange, the forum's themes have closely tracked the direction of industry development, its programs have been rich and varied, and its scale has grown year by year. With its strong focus on professionalism and market orientation, it is regarded as an annual high-level forum for the engineering and academic communities, and the premier platform for exchange and cooperation in China's deep foundation engineering field.
