The statistical scope of the town and village construction statistical annual report is designated towns, townships, and special areas at the town and township level, and the statistical content includes: basic conditions of towns and villages, municipal public facilities, housing construction, and construction investment.

　　The statistical scope of the 2023 service industry statistical annual report is legal-person units in the public facility management industry that implement the enterprise accounting system and have annual operating revenue of 5 million yuan or more, as well as legal-person units in the public facility management industry that implement the administrative and public institution accounting system, and the statistical content includes the basic conditions of the units and their main financial conditions.

　　The statistical scope of the 2024 urban (county seat) construction statistical rapid report is the urban districts of cities and county seats (Chengguan towns), and the statistical content includes: population and built-up area, water supply, gas, central heating, rail transit, roads, sewage treatment, landscaping, domestic waste treatment, and fixed asset investment in municipal public facility construction.

　　Urban and rural construction statistics are rich in content and cover a wide range of areas. The competent departments of urban and rural construction statistics at all levels shall coordinate and organize carefully, do a good job in data submission and verification, ensure that data are reported in a timely, complete, and accurate manner, and achieve full coverage of all that should be counted without duplication or omission. Resolutely prevent and punish statistical fraud, falsification, and other illegal and non-compliant acts. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will continue to issue notifications on the situation of urban and rural construction statistics work. Regions with outstanding performance will be commended, and regions with delayed reporting, omission, false reporting, concealment, or repeated erroneous reporting will be criticized in notifications. The competent departments of urban and rural construction statistics of each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government) shall take overall responsibility for the urban and rural construction statistics work in their region, clarify the responsible office and responsible persons, strengthen statistical training, improve data verification mechanisms, innovate data acquisition methods, complete various statistical tasks on time, and improve the quality of statistical data.
