The Baileyuan to Liujiaping section of the east extension of Rail Transit Line 6 is currently undergoing steel pipe column support erection construction.

　　At the construction site of the east extension of Rail Transit Line 6, 26 large mechanical equipment units including tower cranes and truck cranes have been mobilized across the entire line, all TBM sections along the entire line have been fully tunneled through, and 3 stations have completed their roof capping tasks.

　　Currently, the 3 stations of the east extension of Rail Transit Line 6 are undergoing in-station structural and ancillary structure construction; the section from Chongqing East Station to Changsheng Laojie Station and the section from Changsheng Laojie Station to Baileyuan Station are undergoing main structure construction for both the cut-and-cover and mined sections; the section from Baileyuan Station to Liujiaping Station is undergoing bridge main structure construction; and the section from Liujiaping Station to Shangxinjie Station is undergoing bridge pile foundation construction.

　　After the east extension of Rail Transit Line 6 is completed and opened to traffic, it will connect with the already operational Line 6 and interface with Chongqing East Station, which is of great significance for improving the rail transit network in the eastern trough valley, strengthening the comprehensive transportation hub function of Chongqing East Station, and promoting the high-quality development of the Chayuan cluster.
