Foundation Engineering Network NewsOn March 7, the first session of the Year of the Dragon and the fifth overall session of the "My Technology, I'll Explain It" series under the Foundation Academy was held. The event was hosted by the China Foundation Technology Innovation Intellectual Property Alliance and the Foundation Engineering Institute of the China Academy of Building Research, and organized by Jianyan Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jinshan Foundation Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Mr. Liu Xiangang, Chairman of Jiangxi Jiye Technology Group Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, Professor-level Senior Engineer, and National Class-1 Registered Constructor, was specially invited as the keynote speaker.
In his opening remarks, host Director Gao Wensheng introduced that Chairman Liu Xiangang is a senior expert in the foundation engineering field with nearly 40 years of geotechnical engineering experience. He has completed inventions of three major series and fifteen complete sets of process technologies and obtained more than 70 national patents. This session specially invited Chairman Liu to share his experience and teach the new technology "High-Strength Composite Foundation — Construction Technology of the Along-Track Column Hammer Rock-Breaking Compaction Pile Method."
This technology is a ground treatment technique specifically aimed at deep, soft soil layers or foundation soils mixed with large amounts of block (boulder) stones. It achieves a major "visualized" breakthrough in treatment depth and penetration capability. It is suitable for ground treatment in large-scale high-fill areas created by cutting mountains, blasting rock, and reclaiming land from the sea; it is also suitable for ground treatment and reinforcement of undisturbed soil foundations containing large amounts of block (boulder) stones; and it is especially suitable for ground treatment in karst areas.
During the exciting interactive session, the audience actively asked questions and expressed strong interest in the technology. Director Gao Wensheng asked questions on behalf of the audience, and Chairman Liu Xiangang patiently answered them based on practical engineering experience, bringing the audience in-depth technical interpretation and sharing.
This event brought valuable technical exchange and learning opportunities to the industry and received widespread attention. Chairman Liu Xiangang's sharing not only promoted the innovative development of foundation technology but also contributed to the progress and improvement of the entire industry.
