On March 4, the right-line shield of the Juxian Road Station–Meixu Road Station section of SG6115 bid of the first phase of Ningbo Rail Transit Line 6, undertaken by Chengtong Company of China Railway No.2 Engineering Group, was successfully launched. At this point, the project has officially entered the dual-shield tunneling stage, pressing the "accelerator key" on construction production.

　　The right-line shield tunnel section from Juxian Road Station to Meixu Road Station is 1,867.341 m long, with a minimum curve radius of 1,200 m, a maximum longitudinal slope of 28‰, and a tunnel crown burial depth of 10.16 m to 23.30 m. The section includes 3 cross passages and 1 built-in wastewater pumping station. After departing from Meixu Road Station, the right-line shield runs west along Jiangnan Road, passing beneath Zhenmei Bridge, Maoyang Bridge, Rulan Bridge and Yuxi Bridge before reaching Juxian Road Station.

　　To ensure the smooth launch of the right-line shield, the project department carefully summarized the experience gained in launch preparation and tunneling construction for the left-line shield, actively allocated resources from all parties, prepared a special shield construction plan in advance, formulated targeted emergency response plans, and organized several special construction plan demonstration meetings and technical review meetings. Through the project department's meticulous organization, scientific arrangement and continuous increase in resource input, preparations such as shield machine transportation, lowering into the shaft, assembly and commissioning were completed efficiently, meeting the owner's milestone target 8 days ahead of schedule.

　　At present, the left-line shield in the Juxian Road Station–Meixu Road Station section has safely and steadily advanced 98 rings. Next, the project will further strengthen construction organization, continuously enhance process control, closely monitor shield tunneling conditions, and, on the basis of ensuring safety and quality, quickly set off a construction boom, go all out to sprint toward the annual target, and help Ningbo rail transit construction achieve both good and fast results.
