Recently, the Longtan Yangtze River Bridge, located within Jiangsu Province, has entered the steel box girder hoisting construction stage, with hoisting expected to be completed by the end of March this year.

　　The Longtan Yangtze River Bridge starts in the north at the S356 Longshan Interchange in Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, crosses the Yangtze River southward, passes through Longtan in Nanjing, and ends at the Longtan Interchange of Provincial Highway 338, with a total route length of approximately 5.8 kilometers. It is being built to the standard of a two-way, six-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Once completed, the bridge will be of great significance in supporting the Yangtze River Economic Belt development strategy, promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River city cluster and the Nanjing-Zhenjiang-Yangzhou region, accelerating the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor, optimizing the layout of river-crossing channels, and improving the expressway network.
