The fourth batch of 121 Guangdong university student teachers all successfully arrived in Xinjiang on the 2nd, officially launching a new round of internship teaching support work.

　　It is reported that the fourth batch of university internship teaching students came from 12 institutions, including South China Normal University, Shaoguan University, Lingnan Normal University, Zhaoqing University, Guangzhou Sport University, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangzhou University, Dongguan University of Technology, Foshan University, and Guangdong Foreign Language and Art Vocational College. In 2024 alone, Guangdong's educational aid to Xinjiang has dispatched more than 360 university students to Xinjiang, providing teaching support across multiple subjects and covering all stages from kindergarten through primary and secondary school.

　　"This is a glorious mission, and I believe it will be a wonderful growth experience," said Liu Haoyang, a junior majoring in early childhood education at Zhaoqing University, who admitted he is full of longing for Xinjiang. Speaking about this teaching support work, he expressed the hope of applying his professional strengths in practice, growing together with the children in the Kashgar region of Xinjiang, and realizing his life's value through dedication and responsibility.

　　Currently, Guangdong is tasked with paired assistance to one city and three counties in the Kashgar region of Xinjiang and to the Third Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Dispatching internship students to provide teaching support in Xinjiang is an important component of Guangdong's educational aid work. The initiative aims to supplement the shortage of teachers in the recipient areas, strengthen interaction, exchange, and integration among young people of the two places, temper the moral character and abilities of Guangdong students, innovate the practical education model of Guangdong universities, create a "second classroom" for patriotic education, and achieve a win-win situation for the recipient areas, universities, and students.

　　A responsible person from the Guangdong Front Command for Aid to Xinjiang stated that since the launch of the tenth batch of Guangdong aid to Xinjiang early last year, Guangdong has deeply implemented the "Ten Thousand Teachers Teaching Support Plan" and the "group-style" educational talent aid to Xinjiang, carrying out "mentor-apprentice pairing," "regional open demonstration classes," and "sending teachers to rural areas" and other "passing on experience and guidance" activities, focusing on improving key aspects of basic education in the recipient areas, advancing both software and hardware, increasing support efforts, and continuously building the "Guangdong Education" brand.
