At the start of the Year of the Dragon, at the construction site of the Huangjinyuan Neighborhood Center project in Wucheng New District, excavators roar and dump trucks shuttle back and forth, presenting a bustling scene of vigorous construction. "Site leveling and earthwork removal have been completed, and the retaining pile construction has been completed; foundation pit excavation is in full swing and is expected to be completed by the end of March," introduced Pan Chong'an, a staff member of the District Urban Investment Group. After the foundation pit is completed, the project will enter the processes of engineering pile construction, foundation construction, and main structure construction.

The Huangjinyuan Neighborhood Center project in Wucheng New District extends to Jinjiangnan Street in the west, Wenjin Road in the north, Planning Zongyi Road in the east, and Planning Hengsan Road in the south, adjacent to a planned green park, with a total investment of approximately 365 million yuan. The project has a total construction area of 50,809.99 square meters and a building height of 23.95 meters, with five floors above ground, mainly functioning as commercial retail, a cultural activity center, a community school, a home-based elderly care service center, an employment service center, a cultural exhibition hall, and a work therapy and rehabilitation service center, among others. There is one floor underground, with an underground construction area of 17,534.05 square meters, mainly functioning as a parking garage.

It is understood that, as a vivid practice of a future livable center, the completion of the Huangjinyuan Neighborhood Center project will build a composite commercial ecosystem matrix, scientifically integrating the full range of functions of leisure, living, recreation, and shopping, and providing surrounding residents with complete supporting living and commercial service facilities in all aspects. Since the project was launched, all construction work has been carried out intensively, with workers working overtime to speed up progress and meet deadlines, going all out to advance the project construction and ensure that the project is completed by the end of May next year.
