With the rapid development of the information age, cyberspace is increasingly becoming a source of positive energy and a shared spiritual home for hundreds of millions of people. As the Internet advances by leaps and bounds, safeguarding a clean and upright cyberspace, exploring diverse forms of positive-energy content, and fostering more upward and benevolent forces have become an integral part of building online content.

As an important measure to strengthen the building of positive online energy, the 2023 China Positive Energy Online Masterpieces Collection and Exhibition Campaign, hosted by the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, is in full swing. With the theme of "Gathering the Strength of a Great Power, Jointly Forging a Great Cause of Rejuvenation," the campaign collects and selects outstanding positive-energy online texts, images, audio and video works, special columns, and themed activities that emerged between January 1 and December 31, 2023, and will ultimately select 550 online masterpieces in five major categories, illuminating the main course of the Internet with powerful positive energy.

Gathering the strength of unity through the Internet, it paints a moving picture of mutual assistance and pulling together in times of difficulty. Looking back on 2023, we witnessed warmth in the smallest details and forged ahead through the waves with mutual help. Whether it was the forces from all sides who rushed to aid overnight and carried out all-out search and rescue during the Jishishan earthquake in Gansu, or the villagers who gave all their supplies to help passengers when Train K396 was stranded by torrential rain; whether it was the delivery rider who jumped off a 12-meter-high bridge to save a drowning woman, or the mountaineering team members who gave up their long-cherished wish to summit Mount Everest in order to save a life... In the face of difficulties and storms on the road ahead, the Chinese people have always been able to overcome obstacles and press forward with courage through the strength of unity.

Gathering the strength of striving through the Internet, it composes an epochal chapter of building a strong nation and national rejuvenation. Looking back on 2023, we saw perseverance through sweat and created the future through hard work. Whether it was the Chinese aerospace workers who overcame difficulties behind the successful launch of the Shenzhou-17 manned spacecraft, or the athletes who strove with all their might at the Hangzhou Asian Games and Chengdu Universiade and showed China's confidence to the world; whether it was the researchers who tirelessly sought knowledge behind the stunning debut of "great power heavy equipment," or the new farmers who worked hard in the fields and pursued their dreams on the road to rural revitalization... In the face of resistance and challenges on the road ahead, the Chinese people have always been able to scale new heights and create miracles through the strength of striving.

Gathering the strength of a great power, jointly forging a great cause of rejuvenation. On the road ahead, those moments of mutual assistance, the struggles of ordinary individuals, and the surging tides of the times are worth discovering, recording, and spreading. The China Positive Energy Online Masterpieces Collection and Exhibition Campaign keeps pace with the pulse of the times, grasps new forms of online communication, and uses lines of text, images, and audio and video clips full of "online sensibility" and "online flavor" to further expand and strengthen the mainstream ideology and public opinion in cyberspace, gathering the strength of unity and majestic positive energy through the Internet.

The China Positive Energy Online Masterpieces Collection and Exhibition Campaign has been successfully held seven times so far. Thousands of works have not only recorded unforgettable Chinese moments and Chinese stories, but are also driving a relay of positive energy online for the times, which will surely enable more people to build consensus amid stirring resonance and gather the powerful momentum and majestic strength to jointly forge the great cause of rejuvenation.
