On the morning of February 23, the Jinan Municipal Urban and Rural Transport Bureau held the 2024 Jinan Transport System "Project Deepening Year" Work Implementation Conference, reviewing and summarizing Jinan's 2023 transport work and arranging and deploying the 2024 key tasks.

　　Railways

　　First, accelerate the construction of the "rice-character-shaped" high-speed rail network, speed up the construction of the two high-speed rail projects, Jinan-Binzhou and Jinan-Zaozhuang, complete the land acquisition documentation for the Jinan-Zaozhuang High-Speed Railway, and advance the subgrade works and bridge works of the Jinan-Binzhou High-Speed Railway.

　　Second, continue to advance the preliminary work of planned projects such as the Dezhou-Shanghe Railway and the Laiwu-Linyi High-Speed Railway.

　　Third, coordinate with the Shandong Provincial Intercity Dispatch and Command Center to complete the remaining finishing works as soon as possible and achieve completion within the year; urge the North Station Building project to proceed in an orderly manner according to plan and strive to put it into use by the end of the year.

　　Fourth, coordinate and accelerate the construction of the dedicated railway line of Shuifa International Logistics Co., Ltd. and the Guojiaqou-Dashijia local railway.

　　Highways

　　First, improve the "two rings, one link, sixteen radials" expressway network. Accelerate the construction of 13 expressway projects, including Jinan-Ningjin, Gaoqing-Shanghe, and the Greater North Ring of the Ring Expressway, among which the Yinxiang interchange and connecting line project will be basically completed within the year.

　　Second, accelerate the implementation of the Zhangqiu-Zibo boundary to Zhangqiu Hushan Street section of the G309 Qingdao-Lanzhou Line, complete the project within the year, and open the entire line to traffic.

　　Third, accelerate the construction of 10 cross-Yellow River corridors, including the Huanggang Road Tunnel, the Aerospace Avenue Tunnel, and the Yellow River Bridge Double-Track Bridge, among which the Liaocheng-Tai'an Road-Rail Dual-Purpose Bridge will be completed and opened to traffic within the year.

　　Fourth, continue to advance the special action for improving the quality and efficiency of "Four Good Rural Roads," completing the construction tasks of 60 kilometers of new reconstruction and 1,100 kilometers of maintenance within the year. Ensure the safe operation of Jinan's rural roads, and use provincial and municipal subsidy funds to complete the reconstruction of 11 dangerous bridges and 33 kilometers of village road safety projects.

　　Fifth, plan and build the 600-kilometer South America Tourism Highway, and advance the improvement of tourism service functions of national and provincial roads and rural roads along the Qi Great Wall.

　　Airport: Build a modern international airport hub.

　　Accelerate the Phase II construction of the international airport and carry out the construction of seven projects, including the airport project, air traffic control project, Shandong Airlines project, and China Eastern Airlines project.

　　Start the construction of supporting buildings for customs and border inspection, fully launch the construction of Terminal 2 and the West Flight Area, strive to complete the foundation works of the comprehensive transport center and parking building; coordinate and accelerate the construction progress of projects under construction such as the comprehensive transport hub, and fully complete the East Flight Area project; at the same time, do a good job in the finishing works of related projects in the new work area.

　　Water transport: Give play to the shipping function of the Xiaoqing River.

　　Actively cultivate the Xiaoqing River shipping market and coordinate the management of Xiaoqing River navigation.

　　Urban roads

　　First, accelerate projects such as the comprehensive reconstruction of Gongye South Road, carry out projects such as the comprehensive reconstruction of Gongye South Road, and improve the quality of urban roads.

　　Second, accelerate the start of construction of Phase II of the Yellow River Avenue (Starting Area).

　　Third, solidly advance the eastward extension of the Gongye North Road Expressway for construction of viaducts, municipal pipelines, and other works; start nine new urban road projects, including Jiaxuan Road, Dajiangou Road, and Lieshi Mountain Road.

　　Fourth, carry out the "bottleneck road" breakthrough projects for seven roads, including Kaiyuan Road, Aoti West Road, Lashanhe West Road, and Fengming Road (from Branch 29 to Gangjiu Interchange).

　　Fifth, advance the implementation of Jinan's comprehensive tunnel improvement and reconstruction project, the comprehensive reconstruction project of Gongye South Road, and the repair and reinforcement project of the Weier Road railway overpass. Carry out preventive maintenance of urban viaducts and repair and upgrading of crash barriers. Persist in tackling viaduct noise pollution prevention and control, continue to practice the "I do practical things for the masses" activity, and install 1 kilometer of sound barriers.

　　Rail transit

　　Accelerate the construction of Phase II rail projects. For Phase II of Line 3, all stations are to achieve structural topping-out and shield tunneling sections are to be completed, and electromechanical and track-laying construction is to be carried out, striving to meet the conditions for opening to traffic by the end of the year;

　　For Phase I of Line 4 and Line 6, some stations are to achieve structural topping-out and sections are to be completed, and key stations are to carry out electromechanical and decoration construction; for Phase I of Line 7 and Phase I of Line 9, some stations are to achieve structural topping-out;

　　For Phase I of Line 8, the main structures of stations along the entire line are basically completed, and electromechanical works are fully launched.

　　Public transport: Build green public transport and focus on advancing the construction of public transport infrastructure.

　　Continue to increase efforts to promote new energy vehicles, strengthen the construction of charging infrastructure, and form a reasonable and well-developed vehicle charging network. The configuration rate of charging facilities at newly built bus depots is to reach 100%, and the construction and upgrading of five charging stations is to be completed. Advance the construction of the Gangxing Road smart parking lot; the Shandong Quancheng Green Modern Trolleybus Public Transport Demonstration Project is to be fully completed, fulfilling an investment task of 100 million yuan. Add 400 convenient waiting corridors and pavilions and 1,000 sets of seats, polish the city's windows, further create clean, beautiful, and comfortable bus stations, and provide citizens and tourists with a satisfactory waiting experience.

　　Hub stations: Continue to advance the work of supplementing and strengthening the chain of national comprehensive freight hubs.

　　Encourage and support the construction of comprehensive freight hubs, collection and distribution, and other projects, and accelerate the realization of regional integrated customs clearance cooperation.
