By the end of this year, Metro Line 3 will achieve loop operation. Currently, the main structures of the remaining 8 stations under construction have all been completed, all tunnel sections are through, and track laying has been completed. Electrical work is now underway.

　　At present, the northwest loop of Metro Line 3 is under construction for 10 ventilation shafts and 13 entrances/exits at 7 stations. Meanwhile, 8 stations and 9 sections have entered the stage of electromechanical installation and equipment room decoration.

　　Line 3 is the only loop line of Harbin Metro, with a total of 36 stations, divided into Phase I and Phase II projects.

　　Phase I includes 5 stations: Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Haxi Street, Kaishengyuan Plaza, Harbin West Railway Station, and Chengxiang Road.

　　Phase II is divided into the southeast half-loop and the northwest half-loop.

　　The southeast half-loop of Phase II includes 19 stations: Taipingqiao, Dayoufang Street, Harbin Second Hospital, Haihe East Road, Convention and Exhibition Center, Xiangjiang Road, Zhujiang Road, Gongbin Road, Youfang Street, Steam Turbine Factory, Jinxiang Street, Laodong Park, Xusheng Street, Tumor Hospital, Zhengyi Road, Gongnong Street, First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University Qunli Campus, Qunli Fifth Avenue, and Sports Park. All these stations have been opened and are in operation.

　　The northwest half-loop of Phase II includes 12 stations: Dingxiang Park, Heshan Street, Hesong Street Station, Highway Bridge, Shanghai Street, People's Square Station, Youyi Palace, Zhaolin Park, Beima Road, Chinese Baroque Block, Mosque, and Jingyu Park. Among them, 4 stations—Beima Road, Chinese Baroque Block, Mosque, and Jingyu Park—have already opened, and the remaining 8 stations will all open by the end of this year.

　　After the loop is closed at the end of this year, the metro operating line will connect Harbin's four central urban districts: Daoli, Daowai, Nangang, and Xiangfang.
