During the Spring Festival, at the construction site of the Liulü Yongjiang Grand Bridge, a controlling project on the Nanning–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway's Nanning–Yulin section, builders stayed at their posts and pressed ahead with construction at full pace. Work such as rebar welding, steel strand threading, and formwork removal proceeded in an orderly manner as they pushed toward the full closure of the bridge.

The Liulü Yongjiang Grand Bridge is the last unfinished key controlling project on the entire Nanning–Yulin section of the Nanning–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, and construction continued without pause during the Spring Festival. Throughout the construction period, the participating unit, Tiezheng Company of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, carried out testing and inspection work, ensuring the quality and reliability of various raw materials while accelerating the project schedule, thereby safeguarding project quality.

The main bridge of the Liulü Yongjiang Grand Bridge has a total length of 621.5 meters, a main span of 320 meters, and a total height of 115 meters. It is the steel box–concrete partial cable-stayed bridge with the largest span among the ballastless-track high-speed railways designed for 350 km/h that were approved for construction in the same period in China. At present, construction of the Liulü Yongjiang Grand Bridge is 90% complete and is expected to close in March, at which point the bridge works on the Nanning–Yulin section of the Nanning–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway will be fully connected, laying the foundation for the smooth progress of track laying and the "four electrics" (communication, signaling, power supply, and electrification) works along the entire line.

According to reports, the Nanning–Yulin section of the Nanning–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway is Guangxi's first 350 km/h high-speed railway built with independent investment, with a main line length of 193.31 kilometers. The main works along the entire line are now 99% complete. The Nanning–Yulin section of the Nanning–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway is expected to enter operation within this year. Once open to traffic, Yulin, Guangxi's largest hometown of overseas Chinese, will end its history of having no high-speed rail. At that time, rail travel time from Nanning to Yulin will be shortened from the current fastest 1 hour 44 minutes to about 50 minutes.
