Since its establishment more than 60 years ago, the Chinese Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team has successively been equipped with J-5, J-6, JJ-5, J-7EB, J-7GB, J-10, and J-10C performance aircraft, and has performed more than 700 aerobatic displays for over 700 delegations from more than 170 countries and regions. In recent years, the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team has continuously gone abroad to the world stage, becoming an envoy of peace, culture, and friendship.

Visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time, the Chinese Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team conducted on-site surveys of the mission airport environment and, in light of the environmental characteristics and flight plan, carefully choreographed the maneuvers for this aerobatic display. In selecting the color scheme for the smoke trails, this performance specially added green, representing the flag of Saudi Arabia and symbolizing peace and friendship. The team members expressed confidence that they will deliver the most spectacular aerobatic display during the official performance, showcasing to the international stage the image and elegance of the Chinese Air Force as it forges ahead and pursues excellence.
