这个中国企业访问团由10家大型企业的董事长和总经理共11人组成，包括中信集团的董事长常振明，中国投资(CIC)的总经理高西庆，大型工程机械制造商三一集团董事长梁稳根等。
据悉，日本官房长官菅义伟25日在首相官邸会见了访问团，日本经济团体联合会会长米仓弘昌等财经界领袖与中国企业家们举行了座谈。随后代表团还与日本经济同友会代表干事长谷川闲史等进行了会晤。
双方在会谈中，不仅就扩大日中经济合作问题进行了讨论，同时也就如何改善两国的紧张关系交流了意见。中国企业家访问团受到日本政府和财经界如此高规格的接待，是十分罕见的事。
