Huang Zhiming graduated from Tongji University in August 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Construction Machinery. He obtained the qualification of Senior Engineer in 1997.

        He successively served as Director of the Piling Machinery Research Office and Chief Engineer of the Beijing Research Institute of Construction Mechanization. Since 1993, he has been engaged in the research and product development of piling machinery, serving as the person in charge of the design of multiple projects including fully hydraulic crawler pile frames, fully hydraulic crawler cranes, rotary drilling rigs, and full-casing full-rotation drilling machines. Starting in November 2011, he served as Chief Engineer of the Shanghai Branch of Zoomlion, and as Secretary-General of the Piling Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Association.
