The China International Cement Technology and Equipment Exhibition and the China International Cement Summit (abbreviated asCEMENTTECH 2013), currently the world's largest professional cement exhibition and conference, were listed by the Ministry of Commerce as a2012guided and supported exhibition. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the new tasks and goals for the development of the cement industry are to promote industrial restructuring and optimization, strengthen regional cooperation, extend the industrial chain, advance the sustainable development of the cement industry, further improve energy conservation and emission reduction and collaborative disposal, promote technological innovation, enrich and enhance the new dry-process technology, raise the technological content and resource utilization rate, and achieve breakthroughs in technology and equipment levels, thereby realizing the ultimate goal of making the cement industry "strong from large."

The reporter observed on site that the exhibition was large in scale with a great number of exhibitors, gathering enterprises and media, with more than100companies of various types and dozens of media outlets exhibiting. Among them were many industry giants, leading enterprises, and mainstream industry media. Each company carefully arranged its booth and promoted in multiple forms, showcasing its brand products, flagship projects, and exclusive technologies. Booths of many well-known enterprises and research institutions, including Kehang Group, China National Building Material International Engineering Group Co., Ltd.,TJKJianke Machinery, and the Hefei Cement Research and Design Institute, attracted numerous customers.

It can be seen from the exhibition that cement enterprises developing the sand and gravel and concrete industries has become an inevitable measure for cement enterprises to improve the industrial chain, reduce market risks, and achieve sustainable development. In2013the "14th China International Cement Technology and Equipment Exhibition" was held concurrently with the "6th China International Mining and Powder Processing Technology and Equipment Exhibition" and the "5th China International Concrete Technology and Equipment Exhibition," jointly creating a full industrial chain covering mining and sand and gravel, cement, concrete, and construction technology, and providing customers with broader and richer trade and market information.
