Recently, the Linfen Municipal Transport Bureau issued the "First Public Notice on the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Hongtong to Daning Expressway Project." The project route has a total length of more than 80 kilometers, passing through four counties (districts), namely Hongtong County, Yaodu District, Pu County, and Daning County. It is proposed to be built to the standard of a two-way, four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour.

　　The starting point of the project route is located in Longma Township, Hongtong County, connecting with the Dayun Expressway and the Longma junction of the Linfen North Ring Road (the original single-trumpet interchange is to be rebuilt into a cross interchange). The route runs westward through Xibaopu Village, Longma Township, Hongtong County, and Chefu Village, Weicun Town, Yaodu District. The end point of the route is located in Loudi Village, Sanduo Township, Daning County, where the Sanduo junction is set up to connect with the Xiji Expressway (West Longitudinal Expressway).

　　The total investment of the Hongtong to Daning Expressway project is 12.86046 billion yuan. The construction funds consist of three parts: capital contribution from social capital parties, government fiscal subsidies, and bank loans of the project company. Upon completion, it will be of great significance for improving the layout of Linfen City's "four horizontal and three vertical" expressway network, achieving expressway access in every county, expanding effective investment, and stimulating economic growth. It will inject strong momentum into the comprehensive quality improvement and acceleration of Linfen City's high-quality development.
