Recently, Yichuan County has experienced heavy snowfall and a sharp drop in temperatures. However, at the construction sites of the county's key projects, there remains a bustling scene of racing against time and pressing ahead with construction. The builders are battling through the "snow" as they continuously refresh the project construction "progress bar."

On January 19, at the site of the Central Plains Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park project, the construction unit was carrying out outdoor power, steam, rainwater, and wastewater pipe rack works as well as site leveling. Workers overcame the adverse effects of low temperatures and snowy weather by increasing work frequency and implementing a shift-work mechanism, seizing the sunny winter weather to advance construction and pressing the "acceleration button" on the project.

The Central Plains Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park project is constructed by Luoyang Green Industry Development Co., Ltd. The project is located in the East Park of the Yichuan County Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone and is a key project of the National Development and Reform Commission and a key construction project of Henan Province. It covers a total area of approximately 439.2 mu, of which Phase I covers approximately 276.4 mu and includes standard electroplating workshops, a comprehensive building and canteen, a comprehensive station building, a materials recycling station, raw/auxiliary materials warehouses, a chemicals warehouse, a hazardous waste warehouse, and a wastewater treatment center. Phase I is scheduled to be completed and put into use in June 2024. Once completed, the park will become an important supporting link in the industrial chains of advanced equipment manufacturing, new materials, auto parts, electrical components, and machinery and equipment in cities and counties within a 200-kilometer radius, playing an important role in industrial agglomeration and ecological protection and delivering significant economic benefits.

At present, all 10 individual buildings in the southern area of the project have been topped out, among which the project's wastewater treatment plant and the AVIC Optoelectronics custom-built workshop have been delivered.
