Recently, the shield tunneling section from Fengjing 4# to Fengjing 5# of Bid 7 of the Airport Link Line, invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and undertaken by Shanghai Construction Group, has achieved new construction progress. With the completion of the hoisting of the last section of the trolley, the underground dismantling and hoisting work of the "Jianye" shield tunneling machine of Bid 7 has been fully completed.

The shield tunneling section from Fengjing 4# to Fengjing 5# of Bid 7 was successfully completed on December 13, 2023. Subsequently, amid the roaring of two 650-ton and 1000-ton crawler cranes, more than 50 professional dismantling personnel worked day and night, overcoming the narrow construction site and the low-temperature weather rarely seen in 40 years, and completed a series of tasks including the underground dismantling, hoisting, cutterhead cutting, and transportation of the "Jianye" shield tunneling machine in only 25 days.

As the cutterhead of the shield tunneling machine weighs 378 tons, plus the supporting rigging and lifting appliances, the total weight is nearly 400 tons, making the hoisting operation extremely risky and difficult. Under the overall coordination and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team held multiple special seminars, completed the crane selection, force calculation, desktop simulation, pre-acceptance of conditions and other related work, and successfully passed the expert demonstration.

Before hoisting, the entire hoisting process was rehearsed on site to identify various risk points during the lifting process. During hoisting, dedicated personnel were assigned to control each risk point to ensure that the hoisting process was foolproof.
