During the New Year holiday, at the construction site of Track Section 2 of the Shanghai Municipal Railway Airport Link Line—invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and undertaken by China Railway First Group—more than 900 builders stayed at the front line of construction, going all out to advance the building of the Airport Link Line and welcoming the New Year with fervent work enthusiasm.

Recently, Track Section 2 of the Airport Link Line has successively achieved impressive results, with single-day cumulative track bed pouring reaching 789 meters, 810 meters, and 1,015 meters, among which a single work face on the left line from Ventilation Shaft 7# to Pudong Airport Station completed 163 meters of track bed pouring in a single day. The construction task of Track Section 2 is characterized by numerous work points, a wide scope, and a long line; the handover of project work faces was mostly concentrated in the fourth quarter, posing a huge test to the project's overall construction deployment capability and organizational coordination capability.

Under the overall coordination and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team carefully sorted out and refined and decomposed the construction and production tasks of each section, meticulously organized the construction plan, broke monthly plans down into weekly plans and weekly plans into daily plans, arranged 24-hour on-site duty for key sections, carried out special campaigns on major and difficult issues, continuously optimized construction schemes, promptly switched work faces according to actual on-site conditions, adopted the "multi-point parallel paving method," optimized the allocation of manpower and equipment, and went all out to overcome the difficulty of tight handover schedules for on-site work faces.

At present, Track Section 2 of the Airport Link Line has cumulatively completed 56.07 kilometers of double-line monolithic track bed construction, 1 set of crossover turnout, and 13 single turnouts, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent mechanical and electrical installation works of the Airport Link Line.
