Recently, Sunward received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China. The letter highly affirmed Sunward's prompt initiation of support work after the Gansu earthquake and praised Sunward's dedication to taking the initiative and acting proactively.

At around 23:00 on December 18, 2023, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, causing heavy casualties and property losses. The Ministry of Emergency Management coordinated and dispatched rescue forces to the disaster area to carry out search and rescue, infrastructure repair, and victim relief and resettlement.

Sunward attached great importance to the situation and responded quickly, mobilizing 13 members and 4 sets of equipment from its emergency rescue team to rush overnight to the disaster areas of Jishishan County in Gansu and Minhe County in Qinghai. The team worked day and night alongside professional rescue teams, pre-positioned more than 100 pieces of engineering machinery, and donated 2,000 sets of relief supplies including windbreakers and quilts, winning unanimous praise from cadres and residents in the disaster areas.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and is a crucial year for implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan. Efforts must be made to prevent and defuse major safety risks and safeguard new development patterns with a new safety architecture. In the letter, the Ministry of Emergency Management stated its willingness to further strengthen communication and deepen cooperation with Sunward to make new and greater contributions to protecting the lives and property of the people and maintaining social stability.

At present, in response to the tasks and requirements of "all types of disasters and major emergencies" in the new era, Sunward has built an "air-ground" coordinated emergency rescue system based on multi-functional aviation equipment, serialized special engineering equipment, and intelligent unmanned equipment. It has accumulated solid technical strength and product and service advantages in the emergency rescue field. Equipment such as the "Feiyue" unmanned helicopter, intelligent remote-controlled excavator, amphibious excavator, and firebreak excavator has been applied in scenarios including urban and forest firefighting, geological disasters, and flood fighting and emergency rescue, playing an important role in various disaster and accident rescue operations.
