Zhongyan Dadi Technology Leads Innovation to Support Construction of the World's Longest-Span Suspension Bridge

— SJT Ultra-High-Pressure Jet Grouting Pile Project for Anchorage Foundation Reinforcement of Section A1 of Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge Successfully Commences

Recently, the SJT ultra-high-pressure jet grouting pile project for anchorage foundation reinforcement of Section A1 of the Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge, undertaken by Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongyan Dadi), successfully commenced. This project is the world's longest-span suspension bridge and also features the world's largest diaphragm wall anchorage foundation.

The Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge spans the Yangtze River, with a main span of 2,300 meters for the south navigational channel bridge, making it the world's longest-span suspension bridge currently under construction. Among them, the north anchorage of the north navigational channel bridge is a caisson structure, while the rest are composite diaphragm wall structures, creating the world's first ultra-large-scale support-to-structure composite diaphragm wall anchorage foundation. To increase the base friction coefficient of the anchorage foundation, improve foundation bearing capacity, and reduce the excavation depth of the foundation pit and the risk of structural creep, this project adopted ultra-high-pressure jet grouting pile technology for base reinforcement, achieving a pile diameter of 2.2 meters and a maximum pile depth of up to 70 meters.

As a world-class bridge, the Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge imposes extremely high requirements on construction quality control. Zhongyan Dadi's independently developed Smart Sensing Super Jet Grouting technology (SJT) stood out among domestic and international geotechnical companies, successfully solving the world-class challenge of similar bridge foundation reinforcement and excellently meeting the ultra-high requirements of the Zhangjinggao Yangtze River Bridge for ultra-high-pressure jet grouting pile construction quality.

The SJT technology, based on optimization and improvement of traditional high-pressure jet grouting piles, focuses on solving the challenges of jet grouting pile formation in silty clay, silt, sandy soil, round gravel, and pebble layers. The independently developed and manufactured high-performance SJT jet grouting drilling rig enables efficient connection and disconnection of drill rods, with a single drill rod length of up to 24 m, reducing drill rod connection and disconnection time and significantly improving construction efficiency. Through the establishment of an intelligent management system for ultra-high-pressure jet grouting piles, information monitoring and real-time feedback throughout the entire construction cycle have been achieved, making the construction process more refined and providing high-quality assurance for deep foundation reinforcement. It has been successfully applied in fields such as river-crossing bridges and subway stations, and will also be widely used in water conservancy and hydropower, reservoir dams, river-crossing tunnels, and other fields, providing safer and more efficient solutions for infrastructure construction.
