On November 8, the Institute of Foundation Engineering of China Academy of Building Research (CABR) and the School of Civil Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University held a signing ceremony and exchange meeting for a joint postgraduate training base.

A delegation of seven people, including Cai Guoqing, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University, and Bai Yan, Vice Dean, attended the signing ceremony. Gao Wensheng, Director of the Institute of Foundation Engineering of CABR, Wu Chunqiu, General Manager, and others also attended. The signing ceremony was presided over by Wang Tao. Wu Chunqiu introduced the basic situation of the Institute of Foundation Engineering and welcomed the Beijing Jiaotong University delegation.

To strengthen university-enterprise collaboration and improve the quality of talent cultivation, the two parties, after full consultation, decided to jointly build a postgraduate joint training base. Gao Wensheng and Cai Guoqing signed the agreement on jointly building the postgraduate joint training base and jointly unveiled the training base.

After the signing ceremony, the two parties held discussions and exchanges on talent conditions, research fields, student training and other aspects. This exchange further enhanced mutual understanding. The two parties have broad space for cooperation in their respective research fields and future development directions, and should work closely together to jointly promote the development and progress of the industry.

After the exchange, the Beijing Jiaotong University delegation visited the Foundation Engineering Laboratory of the State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Environment.
