Abstract:In accordance with the requirements of the "Work Plan for Engineering Cost Reform" (Jian Ban Biao [2020] No. 38), the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized the Guangdong Provincial Construction Engineering Standard Quota Station to revise the "Code of Bills of Quantities and Valuation for Construction Works" (GB/T 50500-2013), forming a draft for comments, and recently issued a notice to solicit public opinions. The deadline for feedback is November 30, 2023.

To improve the market-oriented formation mechanism of engineering costs and further unify the engineering cost valuation rules, in accordance with the requirements of the "Work Plan for Engineering Cost Reform" (Jian Ban Biao [2020] No. 38), our Ministry organized the Guangdong Provincial Construction Engineering Standard Quota Station to revise the "Code of Bills of Quantities and Valuation for Construction Works" (GB/T 50500-2013), forming a draft for comments (attached below), and is now soliciting public opinions.
