In late October, Li Hanyang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Yuchai Group, accompanied Xu Yongke, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region, on a visit to Bosch and Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Germany. Li Hanyang also visited Austria's AVL and Germany's FEV to explore more cooperation opportunities and accelerate Yuchai's internationalization process.

Bosch, Germany

At Bosch headquarters, the delegation met with Thomas Bauer, President of Bosch's Global Powertrain Solutions division.

Thomas Bauer introduced Bosch's basic situation and the history of its cooperation with Yuchai. He said that Bosch first entered the Chinese market in 1909, and over the past 114 years, Bosch has witnessed the rapid changes in Chinese society. Bosch's cooperation with Yuchai has an even longer history and a harmonious relationship, truly achieving win-win cooperation.

Li Hanyang introduced Yuchai's production and operations, and expressed the hope to strengthen further cooperation between Yuchai Group and Bosch in areas such as China VI Phase 2 engines and China VII emission upgrades. After in-depth exchanges, the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation.

As a globally leading automotive parts supplier, Bosch has held 13 summit forums with Yuchai since the two began cooperating in 1993, carrying out extensive and in-depth cooperation in quality, technology, projects, supply chain and culture, and forming a close and stable strategic cooperative relationship.‍

Rolls-Royce Power Systems, Germany

At Rolls-Royce Power Systems headquarters, the delegation held talks and exchanges with Dr. Andreas Strecker, Chief Financial Officer of Rolls-Royce Power Systems, Mr. Manning, Executive Vice President, and Mr. Ou Tuodong, Executive Vice President.

Dr. Andreas Strecker introduced the company profile of Rolls-Royce Power Systems and reviewed the history of its cooperation with Yuchai. He said that Rolls-Royce Power Systems is one of the world's most leading and renowned manufacturers of off-road high-power engines, with a rich product line and a solid market foundation in China. Its joint venture and cooperation with Yuchai Group has been very successful, greatly enhancing both sides' confidence in cooperation, and he looks forward to further deepening strategic cooperation with Yuchai and expanding the Chinese market.

Li Hanyang introduced Yuchai's operations and the development achievements of the joint venture Yuchai Anteyou, expressing the hope that both sides will strengthen cooperation, create more and better products, and jointly create greater value for customers.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems and Yuchai Group established the joint venture Yuchai Anteyou in 2017. Under the leadership of both sides, the joint venture has grown rapidly, with average annual growth rates of diesel engine production and sales volume and sales revenue all exceeding 35%. Its products have been highly recognized by customers in high-end applications in the power generation market and have driven the improvement of manufacturing capabilities of automotive parts enterprises in the region.‍

During the visit, Li Hanyang also visited Austria's AVL and Germany's FEV, exchanging views respectively with Professor List, Chairman and CEO of AVL, and Professor Pischinger, Chairman of FEV, and Dr. Patrick Hupperich, President of FEV, on Euro VII emissions, low-carbon and zero-carbon engine technologies, hybrid and new energy powertrain technologies, and seeking areas and projects for deepening cooperation.
