Recently, at the 2023 Hunan Provincial Smart Manufacturing Promotion Conference and the Summary Meeting of the Hunan "Smart Manufacturing into Industrial Parks" Activity held in Loudi, Sunward Intelligent Equipment was awarded a plaque as a Hunan Provincial Smart Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprise.

Smart manufacturing is a systematic project with a wide scope and high technical thresholds. Centering on the entire production process from blanking, welding, machining, and coating to assembly, Sunward Intelligent Equipment has integrated technologies such as 5G, the industrial internet, sensors, PLC services, machine vision, digital twins, and big data, built a machine vision platform, a flexible smart manufacturing system, and a smart logistics platform, and established an efficient, flexible, and dynamically scheduled smart manufacturing demonstration factory for the equipment manufacturing industry. Equipment utilization increased by 15%, and the networking rate of key equipment rose from 85% to 100%, achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement as well as lean production for the enterprise.

In recent years, Sunward Intelligent Equipment has actively promoted smart manufacturing and received a series of awards and honors. It has successively been approved as a National Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Factory Reveal-Listed Unit, a National 2022 Smart Manufacturing Standard Application Pilot Project, and a Smart Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project, among others, with remarkable demonstration effects.

It is reported that the application and recognition work for Hunan Provincial Smart Manufacturing Benchmark Enterprises and Benchmark Workshops is organized and carried out by the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. Through procedures including enterprise application, recommendation by municipal and prefectural industry and information technology bureaus, expert review and comprehensive examination organized by the provincial industry and information technology department, 16 units including Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. were recognized as provincial smart manufacturing benchmark enterprises.
