At 11:07 a.m. on October 24, with the completion of concrete pouring for the main pier of Tower No. 5 on the Liuzhi bank of the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, all main towers of the Huajiang Canyon Bridge were successfully capped. Previously, the main tower on the Anlong bank of the bridge was capped on April 21 this year.

The Huajiang Canyon Bridge has a total length of 2,890 meters, and its main bridge is a steel truss suspension bridge with a span of 1,420 meters. Once completed, its span will rank first in the world among mountain bridges, and its deck, 625 meters above the water surface, will make it the new world's highest bridge.

It is understood that the Huajiang Canyon Bridge is one of the controlling projects of the Liuzhi-to-Anlong Expressway in Guizhou, and is also Guizhou's first world-class bridge to incorporate the concept of bridge-tourism integration into its development during the design stage. It is a key project for bridge-tourism integration during Guizhou Province's 14th Five-Year Plan period. After completion, the bridge will be developed into China's first bridge-tourism integration complex encompassing "bridge sightseeing + bridge sports experience + tourism services."
