Recently, the pre-feasibility study report for the Jishishan County Pumped-Storage Power Station in Gansu Province, developed with the participation of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, successfully passed review. This marks major substantive progress in the project's construction, creates important preconditions for the project's feasibility-stage survey and design work, and lays a solid foundation for the project to begin construction as early as possible.

Since the project began, China Railway 14th Bureau Group has strengthened collaboration and communication with all parties, actively creating conditions for the project's rapid advancement, contributing CRCC wisdom and strength to building a high-quality economy and society in the new era, and taking concrete actions to implement the national "dual carbon" strategic goals.

The Gansu Jishishan Pumped-Storage Power Station is located in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province. It is a pure pumped-storage power station with daily regulation and an installed capacity of 600,000 kilowatts. It is a major project in Jishishan County's active response to the national new energy strategy and is included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" new energy project plan. Once completed, the station will mainly undertake tasks such as peak shaving, valley filling, energy storage, frequency regulation, phase modulation, and emergency reserve for the Gansu power grid, playing an important role in ensuring grid security and stability and promoting coordinated economic and social development.

Building the Jishishan Pumped-Storage Power Station meets the needs of Gansu Province's economic growth and power development; the need to ease grid peak-shaving pressure and improve the economic efficiency of grid operation; the need to increase emergency reserve capacity for the grid and improve system security and stability; the need for energy conservation and emission reduction, environmental protection, promoting sustainable social development, and achieving the dual carbon goals; and the need to develop smart grids and "Internet+" smart energy. Taking this pre-feasibility study review approval as an opportunity, China Railway 14th Bureau Group will closely follow its objectives and tasks, strictly adhere to time nodes, deploy early, act early, and implement early, going all out to advance the project's preliminary construction and actively contributing CRCC strength to Gansu Province's economic and social development and the building of a new-type power system.

Relevant leaders of the group company and heads of relevant units such as the Northwest Regional Headquarters and the Second Company attended the review meeting.
