On October 10, the 20th China International Fire Equipment and Technology Exchange Exhibition opened in Beijing, bringing together more than 1,000 enterprises and institutions from around the world to jointly drive industry development and support fire rescue.

At this grand event, SANY Heavy Industry, under the theme of "Higher, Faster, Stronger," presented 17 high-precision, cutting-edge emergency equipment, many of which were debut, first-of-their-kind, first-unit, or first-exhibited products. Occupying a prime central exhibition area of over 2,800 m², SANY became the largest exhibitor (by area) for the fourth consecutive time, fully demonstrating its hardcore strength!

Star Products Make a Stunning Debut

On the first day of the exhibition, the highly anticipated SANY nuclear-biological-chemical (NBC) reconnaissance and detection fire truck and the PW04 multifunctional high-pressure spray fire truck were unveiled with great fanfare, electrifying the entire venue.

Among them, the NBC reconnaissance and detection fire truck is a national engineering project for natural disaster prevention and control technology equipment. It is mainly used for on-site reconnaissance and detection at major nuclear, biological, and chemical hazardous material disaster accident sites. It features unmanned three-dimensional reconnaissance and detection, rapid identification and assessment, regional communication and command, and efficient safety protection. It is currently the only fire truck in the industry that enables reconnaissance and detection without personnel having to leave the vehicle, and the only reconnaissance and detection vehicle in China to have obtained national technical appraisal. Its performance far exceeds that of similar foreign products, breaking the bottleneck of imported products.

This equipment replaces personnel with unmanned systems for dismounted reconnaissance and detection. A far-infrared detection instrument, drones, and an explosion-proof robot form a "ground-air-vehicle" all-round three-dimensional collaborative reconnaissance and detection system, enabling long-range detection and identification of 300 types of hazardous chemical gases at a distance of 3 kilometers. The explosion-proof robot can identify 100 types of gases, and the onboard high-end laboratory can identify more than 100,000 substances, covering solid, liquid, and gas analysis. It also features positive-pressure protection for the work area and cab as well as triple decontamination protection for personnel returning to the cabin, making it both efficient and safe.

The PW04 multifunctional high-pressure spray fire truck is a 2021 science and technology plan project of the Ministry of Emergency Management. It pioneers high-pressure spray technology in the industry and can replace the imported high-end CAFS fire monitor system. It ranks first in China in terms of flow rate and range. It is designed for efficient firefighting, multi-scenario multifunctional fire rescue, and high-rise long-distance water supply for firefighting. Its firefighting efficiency for Class A fires (fires involving solid materials) is 5 times that of a straight-stream nozzle, and its firefighting efficiency for Class B fires (fires involving liquids or meltable solids) is 3 times that of a foam nozzle. It delivers outstanding performance in simultaneous long-distance water supply and firefighting for super high-rise buildings, reaching the top of a 186 m super high-rise building in 70 seconds with a single pump.

The two pieces of equipment became the focus as soon as they appeared, drawing crowds of visitors to observe and inquire. Their independently controllable key technologies and cutting-edge innovation drew collective praise from industry insiders.

Flagship Products Draw Overwhelming Attention

Under the sunlight, each "SANY Red" machine shone brilliantly as wave after wave of visitors streamed in.

The globally pioneering SANY large-span elevated-platform fire truck and the heavy-duty forcible-entry fire truck, as always, attracted much attention. They respectively solve the firefighting challenges of large-span high-ceiling buildings and the forcible entry challenges of enclosed large-scale complexes, making them the mainstay in large fire rescue operations at factories, large commercial complexes, petrochemical plants, and other sites.

The PM180 heavy-duty foam fire truck offers advantages such as high power, large liquid capacity, high flow rate, and long range. It is mainly used for firefighting and rescue missions in cities (towns), industrial and mining enterprises, petrochemical enterprises, oil tanks, warehouses, and other locations. The newly designed airport fire truck features excellent off-road performance, high flow rate, long range, and rapid acceleration, and is highly favored by airport customers. The BP300 pump fire truck and the DF20 hose-laying truck, suitable for long-distance water supply systems, greatly improve rescue efficiency.

For forest and grassland fire rescue scenarios, the forest firebreak-opening vehicle and the SY-600 heavy-lift unmanned helicopter were deployed together. The former features land-clearing, excavation, loading, and grab-clamp functions, while the latter offers large payload, long range, large loading space, rich mounting points, strong environmental adaptability, and flexible takeoff and landing. Together they solve industry challenges such as the high labor intensity, low efficiency, and difficulty of material transport in manually opening firebreaks and isolation belts in forests and grasslands.

SANY's aerial platform fire trucks showcased 35 m and 55 m products this time, meeting the fire rescue needs of residential buildings of 6 to 11 stories and below in cities, and solving the rescue and firefighting challenges posed by narrow roads and limited space in old urban areas.

At the 20th China International Fire Exhibition, various types of SANY emergency equipment demonstrated their capabilities, comprehensively showcasing SANY's new technologies and achievements in the firefighting and emergency equipment field. This is also SANY's latest answer to the new situation and new requirements of the industry: with higher, faster, and stronger emergency equipment, it supports industry development, serves fire rescue, protects heroes, and guards homes!
