This project is among the country's first batch of large-scale wind and solar base construction projects focusing on desert, Gobi, and desertified areas. The project involves a newly built single-circuit line from the 220 kV side of the 220 kV Lechang Substation to the Fushan Wind Farm, with a line length of 24.4 kilometers. Construction started on March 26, 2023. Through the unremitting efforts and sustained promotion of all parties, it took six months and was successfully put into operation ahead of schedule at the critical stage before the winter peak.
To promote the high-quality development of regional new energy and serve the autonomous region's goals of "two leads and two surpasses," State Grid Hulunbuir Power Supply Company established a special work team for the construction of the 220 kV supporting transmission project of the Lingdong 1-million-kilowatt new energy project. According to the project leader, after the project is put into operation, it can add 600 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, save 190,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 490,000 tons.
