On September 22, the Institute of Foundation Engineering of China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute of Foundation Engineering") and the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture") held a signing ceremony and exchange meeting for an industry-university-research joint talent training practice base. Han Miao, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture; Che Jingbo, Party Secretary of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering; and Liao Weizhang, Vice Dean, attended the signing ceremony along with Gao Wensheng, Director of the Institute of Foundation Engineering; Yang Shenggui, Chief Engineer; and Wang Tao, Director of the Design and Research Development Center. The signing ceremony was chaired by Wang Tao, who introduced the basic situation of the Institute of Foundation Engineering and welcomed the delegation from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

In order to strengthen university-enterprise collaboration and improve the quality of talent training, the two parties, after full consultation, decided to jointly build an industry-university-research joint talent training practice base. The two parties signed the "Framework Agreement on Joint Construction of Beijing Higher Education Institution Industry-University-Research Joint Talent Training Base" and unveiled the practice base.

After the signing ceremony, the two parties conducted multi-angle and all-round exchanges on personnel composition, research directions, student training, engineering projects, and other aspects. This exchange meeting enhanced mutual understanding. Both parties believe that there is broad room for cooperation in research fields and future development directions, and that cooperation should be strengthened to jointly promote the development and progress of the industry.

After the exchange, the delegation from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture visited the exhibition room of the Institute of Foundation Engineering and the Foundation Engineering Laboratory of the State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Environment.
