XCMG EBZ260M-2H Rear-Mounted Bolter Miner
Full rock, high hardness, soft floor
Tunneling with gradient and large cross-section
Completed 101 meters of advance, setting a new record for the mine

The XCMG bolter miner is operating at a coal mine under the National Energy Group. The tunneling face has a semicircular arch cross-section 5.7 meters wide and 4.65 meters high, with an average gradient of 6.5 degrees, a full-face rock roadway, and high rock hardness.
Before the XCMG bolter miner was introduced, rock bolts were mainly installed manually, requiring two operators, and the convenience of aligning holes for bolt installation was poor. This not only demanded high construction technical skills but also resulted in lower safety and work efficiency, with input not proportional to output.

Due to the high rock hardness, the traditional construction method required about 4 hours to cut one row, which was not only slow in progress but also caused unusually severe machine damage. XCMG technical and service engineers assisted the customer's engineering and technical personnel in systematically and thoroughly analyzing the geological conditions and drilling data at the tunneling face, and decided to adopt the method of firing vibration blasts to loosen the rock at the face, then use the bolter miner for cutting and tunneling.
After the construction process was adjusted, the XCMG bolter miner reduced the time to cut one row by 2 hours, achieving a stable daily advance of 3 meters and a maximum daily advance of 4 meters, which both reduced construction costs and accelerated the tunneling progress.

At the same time, support management was strengthened, adopting rectangular anchor-mesh-cable support with a row spacing of 2 meters; the roof uses rebar rock bolts in a rectangular layout, 7 bolts per row with a spacing of 1 meter; the sides use round steel rock bolts in a rectangular layout with a spacing of 1 meter. This ensured the safety of the roof and side walls, realized regular cyclic tunneling, and ensured the smooth progress of the mine's production continuity work.

The XCMG EBZ260M-2H rear-mounted bolter miner, at low cost, set a new historical high for construction progress at this mine, greatly meeting customer needs, creating value for the customer, and winning customer praise and acclaim!
