On the morning of September 13, the underground diaphragm wall project at Kaiyuan Road Station of Jinan Metro Line 9, constructed by Qiancheng Pile Engineering, was successfully completed, and a grand completion ceremony was held on site. Leaders and teams from the general contractor China Water Resources and Hydropower Fourth Engineering Bureau and the supervision party Zhongcheng Engineering Management Group Co., Ltd. attended to offer congratulations, and all management personnel of the Qiancheng Pile Engineering Kaiyuan Road Station project team jointly witnessed the moment of completion.

Phase I of Jinan Metro Line 9 starts from Shengli Road Station on Daqiao Road and ends at Maozhuang Station, with a total length of 14.8 kilometers and 11 stations, all of which are laid underground. Kaiyuan Road Station is the 7th station of Line 9, located at the intersection of the planned Huaquan Road and the under-construction Xiangquan Road. The station is arranged east-west along Xiangquan Road and is a two-level underground island-type station. The main structure is 224 m long, the standard section is 21.3 m wide, and the foundation pit depth is about 17.442-19.538 m. There are 4 entrances and exits and 2 groups of ventilation pavilions. Both the station and the entrances and exits adopt the open-cut sequential construction method. The main retaining structure of the station adopts the diaphragm wall plus internal bracing form, and the retaining structure of the auxiliary entrances and exits adopts the SMW method pile plus internal bracing form. Qiancheng Pile Engineering constructed 88 diaphragm wall panels for this station, totaling 14,500 cubic meters.

The project entered the site in May 2023 to carry out triaxial reinforcement construction, began constructing the guide wall in June and completed the erection of the reinforcement platform, with equipment successively entering the site, and officially started trenching construction on July 1. With the strong support of the client and the supervision unit, the care and leadership of Qiancheng Pile Engineering and the leaders of the business division and the command headquarters, and under the leadership of project manager Liu Shuping, all personnel of the project department strengthened on-site production management, strictly implemented engineering quality standards, and worked overtime to accelerate progress. After more than one hundred days of continuous hard work, they overcame adverse effects such as high temperatures and the presence of many high-voltage lines and box culverts, and successfully completed the construction tasks of 88 diaphragm wall panels at Kaiyuan Road Station and 8 diaphragm wall panels at Peijiaying Station, winning high recognition from the client and the supervision unit.

At the completion ceremony site, project manager Liu Shuping expressed sincere gratitude to the leaders of the general contractor, the supervision party, and Qiancheng Pile Engineering for their strong support to the project team during construction, fully affirmed the hard work of all members of the frontline construction management team, and said he would continue to lead the project team to fully carry forward Qiancheng Pile Engineering's fine qualities of being modest yet ambitious and sincere without bounds, as well as its iron-army style of daring to fight tough battles and being good at winning them, and to continue creating value and contributing strength to the win-win development of cooperation between the company and the general contractor in subsequent project construction.
