Recently, the Songjiang Plant of China West Construction (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. successfully completed the C30 underwater pile concrete pour for the first pile at Pier P3 of the W3 Connecting Road (Railway Crossing Section) project at the Shanghai Songjiang Hub, with a depth exceeding 100 meters. The project includes a total of 16 large pile foundations with depths exceeding 100 meters and concrete volumes exceeding 300 cubic meters, along with more than 30 pile foundations with concrete volumes of 100-200 cubic meters, totaling approximately 9,000 cubic meters of concrete demand.

Since the contract was signed, in order to excel in this "professional battle," "quality battle," and "brand battle," the Songjiang Plant quickly established a technical research team led by the chief technical engineer and composed of technical department heads. Starting from raw material selection, mix proportion optimization, and admixture performance adjustment, the team focused on adjusting key indicators such as concrete workability, setting time, and time-dependent loss, specifically addressing challenges including cohesion under high-drop impact, good working performance for over 3 hours, and retarding time matched to the construction schedule.

During the pour, in order to monitor progress in real time, the Songjiang Plant leadership communicated and directed on site, with all departments working in coordination to strictly control quality, service, and safety. Through the joint efforts of all personnel, the large pile foundation pour proceeded smoothly and successfully with zero complaints throughout the process, receiving unanimous recognition and praise from the project owner, construction contractor, and supervision unit.

It is reported that the W3 Connecting Road (Railway Crossing Section) new construction project at the Shanghai Songjiang Hub is an important rapid transit channel for the Songjiang South Railway Station hub. The connecting road spans the newly built Shanghai-Kunming Railway and the newly built Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou Railway, and is a landmark project of the Songjiang Hub. Going forward, the Songjiang Plant will continue to maintain technical and quality control efforts, leveraging high-quality products and best service to build the West Construction brand on this project.
