On September 6, at the construction site of Fangzhimin Avenue Station in Section 01, Work Area 3 of the Nanchang Metro Line 1 North Extension project, workers were accelerating the construction of the station's main structure. Earlier, the shield machine for the left line of the Jiaoqiao Station–Fangzhimin Avenue Station section in this work area was successfully received, making it the ninth single-track tunnel to break through on the Line 1 North Extension project.

Similarly, good news also came from the Nanchang Metro Line 2 East Extension project: the shield machine for the left line of the Yinwang Station–Luojiaji Station section was successfully received, making it the third single-track tunnel to break through on the Line 2 East Extension project.

Up to now, five stations on the Nanchang Metro Line 1 North Extension project have completed capping, nine single-track tunnels have broken through, and three elevated sections have been completed; on the Line 1 East Extension project, one station has completed capping and two single-track tunnels have broken through; on the Line 2 East Extension project, six stations have completed capping and three single-track tunnels have broken through.
