The supporting road network projects around the Xiatang Industrial Park 709, 421, 810 and other projects, constructed by the First Company of China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., are located in the economic core area of Xiatang Town, Changfeng County. The main construction content includes three municipal roads: Jiaxing Road, Fenglu Avenue and Fenghu East Road.

It is understood that, as a major construction project in 2022, the 1.2-kilometer Jianye Avenue-Smart Avenue section of Fenghu East Road has now been completed and opened to traffic, and the 1.4-kilometer section from Smart Avenue to Xincheng Avenue started construction at the end of June this year.

"The construction content of Fenghu East Road mainly includes earthwork, pavement, drainage, culverts and bridges, monitoring and signal works, etc. What is currently under construction is the lime soil, rainwater and sewage pipelines and the bridge deck system of the Fenghu East Road Bridge. We plan to complete the rainwater and sewage pipeline and bridge deck system construction of the Fenghu East Road Bridge and make four layers of lime soil ready for water-stabilized base construction by September 30," said Peng Tao, deputy executive manager of the project.

After the project is completed, it will provide more convenient traffic conditions for BYD and CALB in the industrial park. Peng Tao, executive manager of the project, said that after the lime soil is completed, node acceptance will be organized. After acceptance is passed, water-stabilized base construction, pavement construction, and curb, auxiliary road, traffic engineering and lighting engineering construction will be organized, with the plan to complete and open to traffic by December 31, 2023.
