除家庭垃圾外，英环境、食品与农村事务部承认，倾倒到国外的其他垃圾还包括运往中国的旧轮胎和最终运到了西非的废弃电视和电脑。
英环境局已要求各地政务委员会提高回收程序的质量，并核查承包商是如何处理垃圾的。
