Recently, the first batch of XCMG F-series horizontal directional drilling rigs debuted in Xinyang, Henan, supporting the river-crossing project of the water transmission pipeline for the Minggang Water Plant water supply project: a 920mm-diameter steel pipe crossing a distance of 450m through complex strata including mudstone, sandstone, and heavy silty loam. The XCMG XZ1000F completed the pipeline crossing in 50 days.

The construction pipeline was welded in three sections, with two pipe-welding operations during the pullback, each at a 5-hour interval. Anyone familiar with pipeline construction knows that during pullback, time is life: every extra minute of waiting carries the risk of hole collapse, and the slightest mishap can cause the project to fail and inflict heavy losses on the customer.

As the first F-series new product brought to market, the XCMG XZ1000F horizontal directional drilling rig builds on XCMG's mature trenchless technology, with 40,000+ N·m of rotary torque, 1,000 kN of thrust/pull force, and a boostable 1,300 kN, maintaining XCMG rigs' technical advantages of strong power and stable output as always, which ensured the smooth completion of this crossing project.

The XCMG XZ1000F horizontal directional drilling rig is powered by a new China IV engine, making it more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. The new semi-automatic drill pipe disassembly device changes the industry's multi-button, multi-action operating method, incorporating integrated control and one-touch leveling technology, saving effort and worry and greatly reducing customer construction time, providing strong technical support for on-time or even early project delivery.

The XCMG XZ1000F is equipped with a high-flow mud pump and masters mud motors, with hard-rock construction being notably "smooth." With the remote data cloud platform system, XCMG technical experts can provide real-time remote technical support, technical diagnostics, and technical assurance, safeguarding the smooth progress of the project.

In addition, construction machinery vehicles can also offer the comfort of a "sedan": a brand-new luxury quiet rotating cab, integrated joystick operation, a high-definition 10-inch display, space suspension seats, and heating and air conditioning, comprehensively enhancing customer operating comfort.
