Recently, a Yuchai YCR280 rotary drilling rig has been working on the Yangtze River Delta Integration–Changtai Cross-River Link Expressway Connection Project in Changzhou. The project is a key initiative under Changzhou's "532" development strategy, aimed at building a Yangtze River Delta transportation axis, serving as a bridgehead for cross-river integration, and driving a new leap in the city's development level.

The viaduct project has complex geological conditions and is close to the Yangtze River, with a tight schedule. The geology consists of yellow sand silt, silty sand and clay layers, and the groundwater level is high, making hole collapse likely. The pile holes are 1 meter in diameter, with single-hole depths ranging from 40 to 70 meters. With its efficient and fast construction speed and mature construction solutions, Yuchai rotary drilling helps customers reduce operating costs, with a single hole completed in about 2-3 hours.
