The 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technical Exchange Conference (BICES 2023) will be grandly held on September 20-23, 2023 at the New Hall of China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. In order to expand the international influence of the exhibition, enrich the content of exhibition activities, highlight the leading role and value of BICES in the industry, and better serve exhibiting enterprises in going global, our association will join hands with the Beijing China-Africa Friendly Economic and Trade Development Foundation to continue to jointly hold the Third China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum during BICES 2023.

The 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation adopted two important outcome documents: the Beijing Declaration on Building an Even Stronger China-Africa Community with a Shared Future and the FOCAC Beijing Action Plan (2019-2021). Both sides will jointly and actively implement the China-Africa Infrastructure Cooperation Plan. China supports Chinese enterprises in using advanced equipment, technology, standards and services to help Africa improve infrastructure conditions and promote connectivity; supports Chinese enterprises in participating in African infrastructure construction through integrated investment, construction and operation models, with emphasis on strengthening cooperation in energy, transportation, information and communication, and cross-border water resources, and jointly implementing a number of key connectivity projects with the African side.

The holding of the Third China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum will actively promote and advance trade, exchanges and cooperation between BICES 2023 exhibiting enterprises and member units and African countries in the field of construction machinery, enabling enterprises in our industry to make full use of the encouraging policies and measures proposed by the above-mentioned Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, combine their own advantages, and, in the process of deepening and substantiating cooperation with African countries and moving toward high-quality development, help China's equipment manufacturing industry go global and further expand overseas markets.

The forum will invite officials from the embassies of more than 30 African countries in China and commercial representatives to attend the meeting, and invite envoys from key countries to introduce their countries' relevant infrastructure construction and major project planning as well as demand for construction machinery and equipment; and invite representatives of relevant enterprises to share their expansion practices in Africa. This will enable enterprises in our industry to fully understand and grasp the trade situation and development potential of China's construction machinery in African countries.

To this end, we sincerely invite representatives of all exhibiting enterprises to, during the conference, join domestic and foreign guests in discussing the opportunities and challenges of China's construction machinery industry in African countries, and to fill in the attendance reply form according to Appendix II.

1. This meeting is free of charge.

2. This forum mainly targets the market situation in African countries, and it is recommended that priority be given to the participation of relevant responsible leaders of enterprises and persons in charge of foreign trade departments.

3. Due to limited venue capacity, if there are many registrants, we will arrange participation in the order of registration. Please be informed.

4. Participants are requested to attend in formal attire.
