In recent days, at the construction site of the Huizhou Campus project of Huangshan Yanpei Vocational School, the roar of large machinery has been rising and falling. A crusher is breaking rock layers on the small hillside, excavators are following behind loading earth and stone, transport trucks are shuttling back and forth, and bulldozers are leveling the earth—a scene of bustling construction. To suppress construction dust, water trucks have also been arranged on site to carry out watering operations.

It is reported that the Huizhou Campus project of Huangshan Yanpei Vocational School is located in the urban area of Huizhou District, covering an area of 108.59 mu with a total investment of 290 million yuan. Its main construction contents include teaching buildings, a teacher-student education activity center, teacher service buildings, logistics buildings, teacher and student dormitories, a militia teaching base, an expanded practical training base, and a smart campus system. As a government-invested project, it aims to strengthen the training of technical talent for Huizhou District's key industries and accelerate the implementation of the "strong industrial district" strategy. After completion, the project will adhere to the main school's educational orientation of "serving local economic construction and social development," deepen the integration of industry and education, advance school-enterprise cooperation, actively carry out the innovative talent training model of "combining work and study, unifying knowledge and action," and cultivate and supply to society various practical technical talents who are both morally and academically outstanding.

Urban construction is in full swing, and rural revitalization is advancing rapidly. Inside the ancient ancestral hall "Mingshi Ci" at the Lingshan Water Street in Chengkan Town, Huizhou District, several skilled workers are busy installing scaffolding and reinforcing the roof inside the hall. In recent years, some buildings within the ancestral hall have become aged and damaged. The project manager introduced that through restoration and protection, business format development, and other methods, these Huizhou ancient buildings carrying historical memory and value will be given new vitality, preserving nostalgia.

It is understood that the Lingshan Village old house renovation and upgrading project (Mingshi Ci display and utilization) is a sub-project of the Greater Lingshan Tourism Comprehensive Development Project. The Greater Lingshan Tourism Comprehensive Development Project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and a construction period of 3 years. It focuses on three villages—Lingshan Village, Shuyuan Village, and Dongshan Village—fully leverages locational, ecological, and resource advantages, further promotes the integrated layout of agriculture, culture, and tourism, and ignites a "new engine" for rural revitalization.

Yao Wei, assistant to the general manager of Huizhou Romantic Red Culture and Tourism Group, introduced: "The Greater Lingshan project has a total of 80 sub-projects, covering rural living environment improvement, ancient village protection, cultural inheritance and experience, and other aspects. During construction, we pay attention to preserving the original appearance of the countryside. Through adaptive reuse and promoting protection through use, we further stimulate the internal driving force for the protection and development of traditional villages, enabling traditional villages to radiate new vigor and vitality."
