Due to continuous heavy rainfall, a railway bridge on the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Railway within Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang, Hebei, collapsed. The bridge is a freight railway bridge, and the situation was urgent. XCMG rotary drilling rigs rushed to the rescue overnight, with nearby equipment arriving at the site immediately to join the emergency response.

XCMG excavators were responsible for clearing temporary access roads at the site. Subsequently, two XCMG XR460E rotary drilling rigs and one XR400E rotary drilling rig entered the site and were quickly assembled, going all out to combat the flood situation.

At the same time, XCMG Foundation, together with local dealer Hebei Jingzhi Company, organized service support, entering the emergency site alongside the equipment to provide construction technical guidance and deliver fuel and other commonly used spare parts, ensuring the equipment started work at full capacity and speeding up and improving the efficiency of the bridge repair.

Once construction conditions were ready, the XCMG XR460E rotary drilling rig roared into action, driving the first pile for the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Railway bridge repair.

XCMG's golden machines shuttled back and forth across the construction site, working around the clock to ensure the progress of the emergency repair and contributing XCMG's strength to ensuring the bridge opened to traffic on September 2.

It is understood that the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Railway, formerly known as the Zhengding-Taiyuan Railway, is a trunk railway line connecting Shijiazhuang to Taiyuan, with a total length of 243 kilometers. It is the main route from Shanxi to Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and various places in Jiangnan, and is also the first railway in Shanxi Province, with a history of a hundred years. After the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan high-speed railway opened to traffic, the Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan Railway became a dedicated freight line, including for the transport of Shanxi coal outbound.
