Guizhou Jonyang Power Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jonyang Heavy Industry") was founded in 1936 and is a state-owned enterprise. Its main business is the research, development, production and sales of the "Jonyang" series of wheeled and crawler hydraulic excavators, as well as special engineering machinery derived from excavator chassis, high-speed multi-functional emergency rescue and engineering equipment, and mountain-efficient agricultural machinery equipment.
Jonyang Heavy Industry has a national postdoctoral research workstation, a provincial engineering machinery engineering research center, a provincial-level technology center, and a provincial-level industrial design center. It is also a provincial-level pilot demonstration enterprise for the deep integration of big data and industry. Among these, the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Machinery Engineering Research Center has an Engineering Technology Research Institute and a Process Technology Research Institute under it, including 8 specialized research institutes (centers), and possesses four provincial-level laboratories for welding, electrical, transmission, and remote control.
Jonyang Heavy Industry has led and participated in multiple major scientific and technological innovation projects such as the "National Science and Technology Support Program," and has won provincial and ministerial-level honors such as the "China Industrial Award Commendation Award," the "First Prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award," the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "2022 Single Champion Product," and "Guizhou Top 50 Enterprises," as well as nearly 300 authorized patents. Among them, the company's core product, the crawler all-terrain vehicle, has also participated in Antarctic scientific research missions many times, demonstrating outstanding performance in tasks such as snow transport, ice sheet research, and emergency rescue, playing an irreplaceable role and receiving widespread praise. It has achieved a breakthrough from zero in domestically produced large polar scientific research equipment and was praised by a major CCTV program as a "Great Power Heavy Equipment."
