On July 18, 2023, Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Chairman of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Exhibition Company), along with Deputy Secretary-General and General Manager of the Exhibition Company Lü Ying and Secretary-General of the Aftermarket Production and Sales Branch Xie Yulai, visited Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Construction Engineering), a key user unit in Beijing, to discuss user and visitor organization for the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2023) and the Association's industry work. They were warmly received by Wang Bin, Director of the Asset Management Department, and Sun Ji, Manager.

During the talks, Wu Peiguo thanked Director Wang Bin for the warm reception and Beijing Construction Engineering for its long-term strong support for the work of the Association and the BICES exhibition, especially for joining the Association this year as a standing council member, which has effectively promoted closer ties between the Association and Beijing Construction Engineering. Wu Peiguo stated that the main purpose of this visit was to specifically introduce the preparations for BICES 2023, learn about the current equipment use and project commencement of user units, listen to opinions and suggestions on the development of the construction machinery industry, explore more effective cooperation models between construction machinery enterprises and construction enterprises, establish a regular linkage mechanism between equipment manufacturers and user units, and promote deep integration. Wu Peiguo welcomed Beijing Construction Engineering to systematically organize relevant personnel in charge of asset management, equipment procurement, and equipment management within the group to visit BICES 2023 on site, and the BICES operations team will provide full service throughout.

Wang Bin extended a warm welcome to Secretary-General Wu Peiguo and his delegation and introduced the corporate situation and equipment situation of Beijing Construction Engineering, with particularly in-depth exchanges on the current intelligentization of construction equipment. Wang Bin highly recognized the Association's work effectiveness as a professional organization in the construction machinery industry and its role as a bridge between users and manufacturing enterprises. He thanked the Association for inviting Beijing Construction Engineering to become a standing council member and hoped to continue strengthening exchanges, maintaining regular communication, promptly feeding back equipment use conditions and suggestions to the Association and manufacturing enterprises, accelerating the intelligent and green development of the construction industry, and carrying out specific cooperation in industry standards, equipment demand, and other aspects. Regarding BICES 2023, Wang Bin stated that Beijing Construction Engineering will leverage its advantage as the host city to organize, in batches, the heads of relevant departments such as asset management, equipment management, technical personnel, and informatization, as well as construction technology teams and experts from various units within the group, to visit and exchange at the exhibition site. He also hoped to conduct in-depth exchanges with enterprises in the construction and equipment industries regarding new technologies, new products, and new construction methods, and promote the coordinated development of the construction industry and equipment manufacturing industry.
