In order to better organize key user units and professional visitors from various regions to visit the exhibition on site in Beijing and enhance the exhibition's effectiveness, following the recent successful BICES 2023 Shandong Transportation and Municipal System Professional User Symposium held in Jinan with the expected results, on July 5, the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) organized the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technology Exchange Conference (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2023) Shanxi Transportation System Professional User Symposium (hereinafter referred to as the User Symposium) in Taiyuan, Shanxi. The meeting introduced the latest preparations for BICES 2023 and the latest situation of the construction machinery industry to major user units in Shanxi Province, and extended an invitation to attend BICES 2023 to the participating representatives. Wang Jinxing first introduced the development of China's construction machinery industry in detail from aspects such as the scope of the construction machinery industry and the current development status of construction machinery, and, combined with the state of intelligent manufacturing in construction machinery, introduced the opportunities and challenges currently facing robotics + construction machinery.

Lü Ying presents "BICES 2023 Organization and Preparations"

Lü Ying first expressed gratitude to all participating user units for their long-term support of the Association's industry work and the BICES exhibition work, and then introduced six key areas of work, including exhibitor organization and thematic exhibition area layout, services for users and professional visitors, and on-site operation service arrangements. He stated that, as of now, the number of exhibitors has exceeded 1,000, with a total exhibition area of more than 150,000 square meters. Exhibitors are already preparing booth design plans and exhibit transportation and display plans in an orderly manner. Hundreds of high-quality conferences and activities during the same period have been confirmed, and specific notices will be announced soon. The organization of domestic and international users and professional visitors has been fully launched and has achieved remarkable results, and a feature-rich visitor pre-registration system has also been launched.

It will make every effort to serve this User Symposium well and will, at that time, jointly organize a successful autumn visit for Shanxi user units to the BICES 2023 exhibition in Beijing.

During the discussion and exchange session, participating representatives spoke one after another, stating that through this meeting they not only learned about the latest situation of the construction machinery industry but also gained a deeper understanding of BICES 2023 in Beijing, and they expressed that they would systematically organize equipment management and procurement personnel to visit the exhibition site in Beijing. Participating representatives also exchanged views on the problems existing in the current use of equipment in the transportation system, stating that the proportion of road maintenance projects has now exceeded that of road construction projects, but because maintenance equipment has single functions and low utilization rates, maintenance costs have increased. They hoped that more equipment manufacturers would invest in the research, development, and manufacturing of practical multifunctional maintenance equipment. Construction units hoped to see more multifunctional road maintenance equipment exhibited at the BICES exhibition, and also hoped to strengthen in-depth exchanges with manufacturing enterprises and research and development units.
