Recently, the left tube of the Zhenxing Tunnel on the B3 section of the Suida Expressway was successfully holed through both inside and outside, making it the first tunnel on the entire Suida Expressway line to achieve breakthrough.

It is reported that the Zhenxing Tunnel is located in Chongyi County, near the Yangmingshan Forest Park scenic area. The left line has a total length of 482 meters, and the right line has a total length of 480 meters. The tunnel has a clear height of 5 meters and a clear width of 10.75 meters, and is a separated single-tube two-lane tunnel.

To ensure the safety and quality of tunnel construction, when the tunnel entered the shallow-buried section construction stage, the contractor invited senior tunnel experts to conduct on-site surveys and repeated demonstrations together with technical personnel from relevant departments such as the project management office, the supervision office, and the design institute, and convened an expert consultation meeting on the construction of the shallow-buried section at the Zhenxing Tunnel portal, providing technical guidance for the breakthrough of the Zhenxing Tunnel. During the excavation process, in response to construction difficulties, the contractor, following the construction principles of "short advance, weak disturbance, strong support, rapid sealing, and frequent measurement," first reasonably planned the construction scheme and optimized it in real time according to progress, ensuring that each process flow met the three major requirements of design, quality, and safety, guaranteeing smooth construction and providing strong support for the tunnel to achieve breakthrough first.

The smooth breakthrough of the Zhenxing Tunnel has reference significance for the subsequent construction of other similar tunnels, and also marks that the construction of the Suida Expressway has entered a new stage.
