近日，新疆库尔干水利枢纽工程实现截流，标志着工程建设取得重大阶段性成果。
库尔干水利枢纽是国务院部署实施的150项重大水利工程之一，也是库山河上唯一的控制性枢纽工程。工程位于克孜勒苏柯尔克孜自治州阿克陶县内，总投资17.05亿元，建设工期48个月，水库总库容1.24亿立方米，最大坝高82米，电站装机容量24兆瓦，年发电量0.855亿度，2021年11月主体工程开工。
工程建成后，经水库调节，可以为库山河灌区年均增加0.69亿立方米供水量，使农业灌溉保证率从40%提高到75%，有效缓解灌区春旱缺水问题；通过与下游防洪工程联合运用，可将下游沿河乡镇防洪能力提高到10—20年一遇；同时利用下泄水量发电，为喀什和克州每年提供0.855亿度清洁电能。
