Pile foundation of the main pier completed

According to the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway Co., Ltd., on April 6, the pile foundation of the main pier of the Jialing River Grand Bridge, a controlling project of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway, was fully completed, and the main bridge has officially entered the construction stage of the main pier cap.

The Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway has four low-tower cable-stayed bridges along its entire route. Among them, the Jialing River Grand Bridge is a controlling project and the most difficult bridge to construct on the entire line, and is being built by Sichuan Road & Bridge Group. The bridge is located between Banzeng Subdistrict in Shunqing District and Longmen Subdistrict in Gaoping District of Nanchong City, spanning the Jialing River. The bridge has a total length of 6,224.98 m, and the main bridge is a (141+328+141) m low-tower steel-concrete composite girder cable-stayed bridge. Its main span of 328 m ranks first in the world among low-tower cable-stayed bridges on double-track high-speed railways with a design speed of 350 km/h.

The Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway has 13 stations along its entire route: Tianfu Station, Tianfu Airport Station, Ziyang West Station, Lezhi Station, Suining Station, Pengxi South Station, Nanchong North Station, Yingshan West Station, Quxian North Station, Dazhou South Station, Kaijiang South Station, Yuexi Station, and Wanzhou North Station. Among them, the Nanchong Jialing River Grand Bridge with a main span of 328 m is a controlling project of the entire line, while the Ziyang Tuojiang River Grand Bridge, the Suining Fujiang River Grand Bridge, and the Nanchong Huangjiashan Tunnel are major and difficult projects along the entire line.
