On March 31, the 2023 First Standards Review Meeting of the Foundation Construction Equipment Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment was grandly held at the Yutong Industrial Park.

The meeting was hosted by the Foundation Construction Equipment Subcommittee and organized by Yutong Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. More than 40 committee members and experts attended, including Tian Guangfan, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd.; Guo Chuanxin, Deputy Chief Engineer of Beijing Research Institute of Construction Mechanization Co., Ltd.; Liu Shuang, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Construction Machinery and Equipment; and Guo Xudong, Chairman of Yutong Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, expert representatives and attending guests successively visited the Yutong Brand Experience Center, the Yutong Heavy Equipment production line, the Yutong new energy rotary drilling rig, and the Yutong hydraulic crawler dynamic compactor, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of Yutong Heavy Equipment's brand strength and product quality.

The standards review meeting officially began on March 31. First, Tian Guangfan, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Academy of Building Research, delivered a speech, introducing the attending leaders, review experts, and participating organizations, and expressing welcome and gratitude to the experts for their support of the standardization work for construction machinery associations.

Subsequently, Guo Xudong, Chairman and General Manager of Yutong Heavy Equipment, delivered a welcome address and briefly introduced Yutong Heavy Equipment's development in the field of new energy construction machinery.

Tian Guangfan and Guo Chuanxin, as the heads of the review expert group, respectively presided over the standards review work. The two heads gave detailed reports on the purpose and significance, a brief introduction to the work, the principles of standard preparation and explanation of the main content, the domestic and international standards situation, and the content of the standard texts.

With a rigorous, pragmatic, professional, and responsible attitude, the review experts conducted heated word-by-word and item-by-item discussions and careful, detailed exchanges on the contents of each chapter and section in the draft standards submitted for review, namely "Construction Machinery and Equipment — Crawler Dynamic Compactor," "Construction Machinery and Equipment — Telescopic Drill Pipe of Rotary Drilling Rig," and "Construction Machinery and Equipment — Submersible Vibrator." Ultimately, the review of 3 machinery industry standards was passed, along with the review conclusions for 10 machinery industry standards.

In 2023, with the global economic recovery, the international market continues its positive momentum, and the domestic market also continues to improve. The foundation construction industry is full of opportunities. The standards passed at this review meeting will promote innovation in China's foundation construction equipment and further drive the healthy and sustainable development of the foundation construction industry.
